On May 7, 2020, Predictiv AI and its AI Labs subsidiary announced the development of a new crowd accommodating, fever-detection system called ThermalPassTM www.thermalpass.com that is designed to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus and other future, fever-bearing contagions. Fever is the most common symptom experienced by individuals who have contracted the COVID-19 virus.

ThermalPassTM is expected to detect body temperatures accurately and efficiently on people walking at a normal pace to help accelerate the screening processes at high-traffic, public locations, providing audible and visual alerts when a higher than normal body temperature is found. This will allow staff to enact their own protocols to isolate those with indicated fever from the rest of the patrons or employees, to help stop viruses from spreading.

ThermalPassTM is a non-imposing system that blends into its environment designed for entranceways at shopping malls, schools, office buildings, airports, arenas, theme parks, convention centers – any place where people congregate – and will scan body temperature using touchless, infrared, medical grade, thermal sensors. Since the system is not camera based, it will not invade a person's privacy, collect individualized data, or identify people.
